A new report from The Center for Public Integrity documents 935 specific lies by Bush Administration officials during the runup to the Iraq War. Furthermore, says the report, an
"exhaustive examination of the record shows that the statements were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses."While there is nothing necessarily new in the report, it is noteworthy in that it has listed all the assorted falsehoods in one place.
